One challenge,UFO and project is finished

On Sunday I went to Merete to deliver my City Quilt for quilting together with Hanne’s buggy Barn House quilt. My city quilt is in Pegs challenge and the one I sew together with Bjørg and Hanne. In Monday morning there was a mail that the quilt was already finished? She had staid up in the night doing it for me. I went over to take it home. So Monday evening I had to stay up… and do some finishing. And here it is my first challenge project Peg is done before end of July. And the quilt is ready for show and tell in my guild in august and as UFO in September at Tåsen. That is what I call three in one like a kinder egg

Thanks Merete you are really good and what a service. Have a nice trip to Mallorca on holiday.

My top is finished

Here is my towen . I live in the countryside, but I came from the city. Sometime I miss my towen where I growup But now I can crawl under my quilt soon and memory back and keep warm.

I did it - My City quilttop is ready. This was so fun. Now I had to look for binding around the top and some backing.....

I used some old stach in my heaven and miss a bit of 5 1/2 inch so I had to mix the mountain top. I try to find some more so the top is what I realy want it to be. I have to finished all up in end of august togheter with Bjørg and Hanne, so there are still time to think how to quilt and seach for a piece of heaven.

Cityblocks

I am finished with all my paper pieceing parts. I have a plan making some ohio stars perhaps in some of the emthy area in right color as fits in the background.But I am not sure jet.In end of may we are going to Hanne to work more on the quilt. I have to think it out until then(perhaps before) I should have a quiltwal to hang it up on,but I do hope you can have a glimt from the floor as well

This is what I am thinking. I made it in EQ6 so perhaps I change the sky more pink then I have peaced it by now

The flowers

This was nice to make. There are 6 flowers in the quilt So now I have to make some stalk and leaf. Then I soon be finished.

This I made first. But I think I make a new one. The other color is not good with the strong blue on the roof.I make the quilt finished first and see how it fit in

Yesterday was my 28 anniversary. But we have this camping and when Roar went there for working I went to the store house. And this is what I made for the Cityquilt.

All my houses are finished now.

This is so fun. I have made one more block in the morning, before I have to drive of for an hours or three...The blanket is growing bigger each day. I'll hurry back to make some more in the evening. Continuation is coming

Do you know this song; Oh what a beautiful morning oh what a beautiful day...This is one of these days. I had Hanne og Bjørg for a visit to day and we started the cityblanket with the church. Time just run a way to fast to soon in good company. We realy found the tone and I learn some more in quilting. Who lives- learn....Thats true. Thanks ladies for making the day so fantastic I don't think I will land before morning. It is true I float an inch over the floor. Here are some pictures.

Det ble en kort natt. Men hva gjør vel det ...Jeg vandret ut på stabburet etter først og ha bakte en kake,tatt oppvasken, startet en oppvaskmaskin,surfet i noen blogger og spist tidlig frokost. Prøvde å sove litt på sofaen, men den gang ei. Tankene fløy av gårde til alt jeg har startet på og det kriblet i fingrene. Så inn i EQ6- skrev ut flere cityblokker og her er resultatene. Det ble 2 gjærder som er like og en blomst. Jeg papir syr og når vinklene blir så mange er det ikke enkelt å treffe alltid når en bruker kopipapir. Men løsningen var der plutselig-kalketpapir og et rissehjul på streken. Vips har du noe å legge stoffet etter på baksiden.

Jeg måtte bare tjuvstarte. Hus blokker fasinerer meg og jeg gleder meg til å sy teppet sammen med Hanne og Bjørg. Å sy samme teppe sammen med venner er spennende Med likt utgangspunkt og allikevel så forskjellig. Fortsettelse følger
