Til en jubilant

På ferie i varme strøk, men ikke uten et håndarbeide. Dette koste jeg meg med å håndbroderte på varme kvelder på verandaen. Motivet er fra K. Langebraaten. Denne jubilanten er ikke glad i engler, men nisser og troll og hva var ikke bedre enn dette herlige motivet. Bare sjekk ut detaljene :-)

Jeg har malt broderiet med Caran D´ache farger. blokkene rundt har jeg brukt square in a square linjalen på. Nå gleder jeg meg til jubilanten kommer hjem fra ferien sin

Engler finnes de?

Jeg elsker engler,alltid likt dem,  de er spesielle og de kan er hvite :-)

Og så kom de over på Lenni som ikke var helt snill med dem.Jeg måtte frem med Janome og rett opp litt rette fine linjer etterpå. Hm det ble brukbart til sist.

Broderi og Cuttlebug

Det er så gøy når en kan ta noe av det utstyret man har til en hobby og “rettferdiggjøre” det også i en annen….. FLER BRUK .

Og da må jeg jo ha et sytøy der jeg ikke har med meg symaskin.Dette begynte jeg på sist

Det var så moro å brodere igjen, men nå helt uten mønster og telling. Skjønt det skulle vært gøy å telle alle de franskeknutene .Det ble en del av dem. Blomstene i forgrunn….ja…stanset ut med min Cuttlebug for scrapping :-)

Her har jeg gjort litt forarbeide med silkemaling,maskinquilting i bunnen og bomullsvatt bak før jeg starter med utbroderingen.

Det var egentlig så gøy at det ble påbegynt en til under guttas håndballkamp i går . Og den ble gjort ferdig under God Morgen Norge til frokost i dag tidlig.

Bildene skal monteres i ramme på en bakgrunn og broderiene skal vokse litt ut i rammen når jeg kommer så langt. Må ut på ramme jakt først.

My Angel Garden all done

Some days with traveling stitches and some finishing up back home Whola…..this is what I have made……..

As you can see……….I am in the romantic mode for the time beeing……….Not to much pink but alot of cream and white.

I have a bedroom thats all emty after DS4 left home and now got his own flat….I am going to make this a nice white and cream dream for family and friends to sleepover in…… So today I start painting….a clock and a round table for the table runner………..it is a beginning

I have a problem with my blog…well some have…they cannot open it and it turns down the site when they try to open…I have the same problem with one other blog myself…is there anyone who knows what it is or where to fix the problem?

I have finished my mice stitchery, but I dont know what to do with the top jet. I think I perhaps will make my own blocks. First of all I need to find fabrics…..I need to finish another project before I start this one…..

My Angel Garden

I go this lovely pattern from Ann,through Stina, in Hatched and Patched,Australia when I had finished my Angel Story together with the other in the Angelclub.

I am going out for a little trip and had to start a new project so I can handstitch on the run….And I found this up. Of course I had to start…..so now I’ll pack it down before I finish it up before I go….. Thats me- can't stop because it is so fun to do!

I am in a Shabby Chick mode for the moment so all I do got white,creamy….some roses with a touch of pink and bit of green!

Block four is finished.
Now I have four more to go. I'll prepp it in the evening today.
First I have to make some more stems....just love to make them... They are so easy to sew on.

Christmas is over for this time

This is the rest of Christmas in my house. I promised Peg and Jeannette to show my Santa. Similar to the one Peg got in the swap from Jeannette. I recognized the Santa in Jeannette’s sneak peak while se was making it to Peg, so we mail back and for sometime sharing photos….
My Christmas curtains are some old one made out of Kirsten Langebraathens drawings. I still love to hang them up each year. She is having a really good line in her designs.

My Bags swap has arrived

My bag from Linda’s bag swap arrived when I was on my quilt trip to Alzas in France.

The postman left a letter for me in my snail mail since I was not at home when the parcel arrived. I had been home for nearly an hour, before I had to rush to the store to pick up my parcel. I was so curious to who my secret partner was and what she had made for me…..And I was so happy….First I got a big bag, then it had this lovely stitchery with these hanging threes I just adore and…..what some fabulous color in fabric and…..there where this magazine, and paper blocks….and…..Linda was my partner .The mother of the swap! I just feel all your prayers in every stitch Linda. Thanks a lot.

Thank you so much Linda. Your handwork is so nice and well done! I don’t find the right words to say…. But wow I am HAPPY. My first swap ever and I was so exciting waiting for my parcel.

Bag swap

Back from Turkey brown and happy. Got my husbond back a week later than us.... He fell and broke a rib He had to stay in hosital in Turkey for 3,5 days. Now we are telling funny stories, because he cannot laugfh. He is more black than brown! He had one more week in the sun. So today I had time to sew and blog again.

Yes, I am finished with my bag swap in time.I laid my last hand on the zipperbag today. Tomorrow it will go with the mail over seas....happely landing in someones mailbox. I hope the lucky one will like it. I have had her in my thoughts all the time. I learned about her from her blog. My friend I really hope you like the teaddies. The bag grows if you needed it on your shopping round :-) The pattern are from here Kari
