NQF medlemsutstilling 2010

En gang må en gå over dørstokkmila og jeg gikk over min flere ganger til dette årsmøtet :) En god og litt skremmende følelse.

Jeg har blogget i 3 år nå og flere ganger har jeg tenkt at dette er det siste innlegget….legge ut WWW det du lager så andre kan følge med og vurdere det du gjør, hobbien du elsker. Men hver gang jeg har tenkt tanken så kommer feedbacken- en venninne, en ukjent quilter som legger igjen en hilsen eller en kommentar og du vet at du har vært til inspirasjon for noen der ute. Da fortsetter du å blogge. Det er det som er spennende-gi av det du har og del det med andre. Det gir utrolig mye tilbake. Dermed dristet jeg meg til en ny …..  dørstokkmil  og leverte disse to teppene til medlemsutstillingen i Tønsberg i helgen.

Jeg oppdaget teppene mine på noen andres blogger i kveld…. Det var noen som ble inspirert av det jeg hadde laget. It makes my day feel good:)

UFO finish

I am finished with my Storybook farm UFO quilt ….ready for our quiltmeeting in september…….I have a finish to show up and I am so happy.

It all started together with my friends in Stabbursgjengen…we began this as a project long time ago….but I think it took the breath a way from us. We never got longer to the second small quilt… I hope the three others will got new hope when they see mine. It was one h…of a job, but wow I am glad I didnt give up

Merete helpt me quilting it so I could reach the deadline. WOW what a good work she did for me. Thanks Merete next time I have to do it my self……my Lenni will arrive soon

Storybook Farm

I have done it……My UFO is ready to be custom quilted…..YES!

Every little piece have been stitch with the darningfoot or the zigzac. I am so happy with myself just now WOW it feel so GOOD……….

There where times I never thought there was an end of pieces….all the tiny small one in the flowers….they all been stitched

My top is put together and all I need to do is binding and some quilting LOL. I love this quilt top and I am so happy coming so far. One more UFO going down. I have to do some yarningfoot training and then go for it!

Story book is growing 94

The Story Book Farm is growing. I only miss to pieces of fabric to finish up the last block. My friend Astrid has those fabrics and she is coming home from holiday next week. Then I will visit her to get them and then I can start quilting. Wow I am not sure if I can do this well done, but I have to try. The yarning foot isn’t my best friend LOL

Storybook Farm

Long time ago I started on the storybook farm together with Stabbursgjengen, but I never got finished up. I started so good got a lot prepared but so it stopped pronto. Astrid has made a couple of small quilt. I think it stopped for me because I didn’t know how to continue sewing it up. I don’t know if I know now either what to do. But this one has to be finished before I can start something new (I try) I love the photo of the quilt and for this I have a wall waiting for the quilt finish .I have three more small quilt in the big one to prepare and then I have a “problem” what to do next. Perhaps quilt as you go or hand stitch or what ever LOL I am not good in free hands quilting but perhaps this is what I have to do. It is Hoffman fabric and to hard to hand stitich for me ....
